Accommodations
You wake up to a gentle
Good morning and the smell of strong coffee seeping under
your cabin door. Outside a basket awaits with a steaming carafe and
fresh squeezed juice. The suns orange rays soak the craggy mountains,
and a meadowlark sings brashly from an unseen fencepost just downstream.
You think back on last night, alive with conversation over Montana-raised
rack of lamb and a nice Oregon Pinot Noir, as you stand by the window
and scan the river for rising trout-a peaceful preface to an exhilarating
day out on the water. How can something as simple as this feel so necessary

Each of the seven private cabins is set a few yards from the meandering

the Ruby

A
Day at Ruby Springs Lodge
Many of our guests plan
a late afternoon arrival on their check-in day. This allows plenty of
time to settle in, relax, or even spend a few hour fishing the Ruby.
Each evening of your stay begins with a cocktail and appetizer hour
in the River Room at the lodge. This is a time to exchange stories with
other guests, unwind after an exciting day on the river, or talk with
your hosts (John & Krista, or Paul & Jeanne) about plans for the next
day's fishing. Following cocktail hour, guests are treated to a gourmet
dinner complete with an appropriate wine selection from our cellar.
Each morning, we personally-deliver a wake-up basket filled with coffee,
tea, or juice. When you are ready to greet the day, stroll down the
boardwalk to enjoy a hearty, cooked-to-order Montana breakfast. For
lunch, you will either experience a delicious streamside picnic on one
of our nearby blue-ribbon float trip fisheriesor you will enjoy
a day wading our private water, taking a break back at the lodge for
an expertly-prepared patio lunch
